SPS is a regional specialist PAT Testing (Portable Appliance Testing) company. We provide a simple and cost effective solution, enabling all companies & organisations to comply with the Electricity at Work Regulations.

Appliance Testing
Each appliance is comprehensively tested to meet the exacting requirements of the IEE code of practice for In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment. We use the latest computerised PAT testing equipment and are able to test all portable appliances in your company including - IT equipment, microwaves, 415V & 110V. Inspection and testing is carried out by fully qualified electrical testing engineers.

NICEIC Registered
We are committed to delivering a quality service to all of our customers. To reflect this SPS is a member of the NICEIC. All our engineers have undertaken a technical assessment and we are subject to regular inspection and monitoring of our work and records.

Reports & certification
On completion of the testing you will be issued with a safety certificate and a detailed asset report that provides information on each individual item. All items that pass the inspection will be labelled with a safety sticker with a unique barcode number that helps us keep track of all portable appliances in your company and speed up testing on subsequent visits.

Repairs
Minor faults found during the course of the inspection can be repaired as we find them and the appliance re-tested at no extra cost. Major faults will usually be taken out of service and quoted as an individual item,
